The mission of Sundry Church is to see the gospel lived out in our community by pursuing, encountering, and reflecting Jesus.
Sundays at Sundry
WHAT TO EXPECT
As you arrive at our gathering, you will notice a team of friendly people there to meet you. These are the people that will help you get to where you are going or answer any questions you may have. If they don’t know the answer, they will get it for you! There are always a couple pastors close by to help you in whatever way we can.
Right as you enter our building, you’ll find the kid’s check in area. If you are dropping your children off before a gathering, give yourself extra time to get them checked in properly. Check-in opens 15 minutes before each gathering and closes 20 minutes after the gathering starts. We take your kid’s safety very seriously by doing full background checks on every single person serving with Sundry Kids. Classes are fun and high energy. Biblical truth is the core of everything we teach.
After dropping your kids off at Sundry Kids or before you find your way into the auditorium, grab a coffee or a tea free of charge!
Now that you have your coffee and your kids are safe and sound in Sundry Kids, head on into the gathering space. You will notice a pretty easy-going environment where people are dressed casually.
If you’ve been to a few different churches, you know that musical styles can vary quite a bit. Ours tends to be a modern rock style. We have a number of worship leaders on our team and they each bring their own style to our gatherings. The bottom line for us is that our worship is designed to point you to Jesus. It’s not about the stage or the lights or the talent of the musicians and vocalists. It’s about encountering Jesus.
We share teaching that is biblical, transparent, and practically connected to your daily life. We don’t just want people to hear a good sounding message, we want to teach people how to be students of God’s word and grow in relationship with Jesus and community with others. In order to accomplish this, we spend the majority of our teaching time with a heavy focus on walking through scripture and applying it in a transformative way.
You may notice that we don’t pass offering plates or buckets at Sundry and wonder how we rent this fantastic space? We’ve chosen to make giving a very purposeful action by placing tithing/giving boxes at the door of our worship spaces and we encourage those who call Sundry home to give regularly, sacrificially and joyfully.
